A good game but not for the target audience Nov 27, 2008
By D. Rolle

I have a six year old son who absolutely loves this movie. When the game came out for Wii we decided that we would pick it up and give it a try.
The game starts out on the same time line as the movie so if you kids have seen the movie it is entertaining in the aspect that they get to follow along the same basic story mode.
At various points in the game you switch from being Wall-e to EVE. My son found this very entertaining.
Overall however I would say that the game was too hard for the target audience of the film. In fact, there were many levels that took me a while to pass. I understand that a game of this price should be challenging but the truth is that without my help , my son would never have been able to play the game. I guess in some ways this is a good thing because we got to spend time playing it together but there were many times when he simply got too frustrated.
The game states that this is a multiplayer game, but the main game is played 1player and you can only play multiplayer on a separate bonus levels. If multiplayer is important to you this game may not be the best choice.

Great Game for Kids of All Ages Jun 25, 2008
By Larry David I generally dont like movie tie -in games, but Wall-e is truly amazing visually and is great play-wise as well, a rare feat. This is an amazing game for kids! Mine cannot get enough of it. My son is 7 and he absolutly loves playing this game. This game is not very easy and has many levels completely different from each other, is what makes it unique compared to other cartoon games. All the Pixar / Disney characters from the movie appear on this game. I strongly recomend this product to family with kids of ages between 4 and 14.

Too hard for little ones and only one player profile Aug 01, 2008
By Parent This game stinks! Way too hard for my 5 and 7 year old. I think that it would be good for ages 10 and up. Game has only one player profile and if someone else wants to play you have to erase any progress made and start from the beginning. I would have changed it to one star but amazon won't let you change your rating when you edit or add anything to your first review. Not worth 49.99!!!!

Weak multi-player options, slow game play. Jul 27, 2008
By J. Isaac I have two boys that love playing multi-player games together (Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Mario Cart, etc.), so when I saw this game supported two players I was excited. The excitement dropped as soon as I realized the only multi-player options are shooting each other in a poorly designed square room or doing laser target practice. Keep in mind there's no response from the controller when you get shot. While playing through the story it's 1-player ONLY. I'm glad I only rented this game, but was so disappointed that I felt obligated to leave this review.

It is just ok. Aug 14, 2008

We bought this game thinking that we could play two player in story mode, but were very bummed to discover that you only can in the arcade mode. I was looking forward to playing as Wall-e and my wife as Eve. The game is kinda fun, but after playing Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones, Wall-e is just ok.[...], I would not have purchased the game.
