Good Quality DIsks, worth the extra $ Mar 23, 2005

I have tried half a dozen brands, including "big names" that cost more than these. I recently got (2) 100 packs of "big brand" disks (2 diff manuf) that turned into coasters at a rate of about 2 for every 1 successfully burned. Have now used over 200 of these Verbatim disks and had only 1 coaster (think that might have been comps fault). The surface prints perfectly (I use the Epson R300). I have been able to burn these disks at 8x in my Sony burner. Highly recommend them -- however note that there are two diff manufactureres of these disks even though they are all branded verbatim (my latest pack are MM coded disks) as is the case with most manufacturers, so can't say that this is always true, but it has been for me through last four 50 packs.

Never a problem Oct 02, 2005
By Paul Gifford I've never had a problem with these DVDs. They burn and play perfectly and I've never had a problem printing on them. What's particularly nice about these is the printable area goes all the way to the hole. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it makes for nicer looking DVDs. By the way, I use an Epson Stylus Photo R300 to print great photos and DVDs.

Perfect Every Time Nov 21, 2007
By F. Murrell Perfect burns every disc. I have used hundreds of these without a problem. Verbatim reliability outperforms and outlasts all of the competition. Printing to the hub is nice plus, the final printed disc always looks and plays professionally. I have tried other brands and always regret it, too many wasted burns.

I like these DVDs better than any I've used before. If you do not want to use your printer to label them, you can write on the white top of the DVD with a marker or pen to label it. Very convenient.
