Maybe I just got a defective one. In any case, the cable I bought (from Third Eye Technology) couldn't maintain a connection; I could jiggle the cable and it would reconnect, but then it would lose it again within a minute. This happened the first time I tried to use it. Complete junk.

This 6ft power cord is worth every penny. The dinky cord that Apple gives you is hardly long enough to place your phone on a table when plugged into a normal wall socket. With this 6ft cord you can lay in bed and text or talk on the phone while it's charging, instead of having to lean over the side of your bed in order to not unplug your phone. Quit bending over to check your phone, it's not worth hurting your back. This cord makes life easier, and for the price it's a MUST BUY, believe me you won't regret it.
