lousy quality of prints Aug 04, 2010
I get 7 blots followed by streaks even after printing over 50 copies after installing it. Very little change from the first print.

This apparent "good deal" is a real waste of money!!!! I now need to go and buy another one.....

SPORADIC DEPENDABILITY. I HAVE PURCHASED REFURBISHED TONERS PREVIOUSLY, AND THEY HAVE BEEN TROUBLE-FREE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE. I SENT FEEDBACK TO THE VENDOR, AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY OFFER OF RESOLUTION. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

JUNK REPLACEMENT TONER. DON'T BUY! May 26, 2010
We bought this replacement toner cartridge from Amazon.com. We rated it for one star since the website doesn't allow us to give it zero star. The paper printed from this junk replacement toner is full of little black lines and dots. The toner powder is all over the paper and inside our printer. It's a mess!!

I own four Brother MFC machines and always used the Brother cartridges (TN-580) before this. I thought I'd try this because it's about one third the price (geez!). As a test, I switched between the two (OEM Brother and the Compatible cartridge from Ink Tank) for the first week or so and couldn't tell any difference at all. I have been using this for a full month of moderate business use, so I cannot attest to the page count, but I would definitely recommend this product and will use it for all my machines going forward.
