 Don't throw out your old chargers May 17, 2010

This item is a great way to save some money by letting you use your old phone's charger with the new charging port. I have a CLA in two cars, and a wall charger in 3 different offices AND my house. I purchased Five of these and all those chargers are now usable with my Droid. I keep the fifth on my keychain so I can borrow a mini-USB charger if I am away from mine for too long.
My biggest complaint was with the shipping charges for these - vendor did not combine shipping, so a 6x9 envelope under 8 ounces cost almost $20 in shipping... by regular US mail!

The title pretty much says it all; this works well for an HD2. It's well made and convenient to carry with me. I like the short cord better than the solid unit adapters as it provides a little more give/twist if I'm using a 6" USB cord at work.

There are a number of these types of adapters on the market - mini USB to micro USB charger converters (for your existing chargers). We finally decided on these because they were Motorola branded - so we thought they would be built to a higher quality standard than the generic ones, & we've been very pleased with the Motorola Phones that we have/ had.
I don't know about the other's adapter brands - but these work perfectly. They've saved a number of existing chargers that we already had. A great snug fit, & quality construction too - well worth the very modest price. Our old chargers are now dual purpose - serving both mini USB & micro USB devices. Plus, it's a lot less expensive to get these adapters, & less tangled wires then getting more chargers.
We got one for each old charger that we had - or if you want to save $$$ - you can move the adapter around with the phone. Either way - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This adapter works great! It works for my vehicle, AC, and data cables without a problem! The price is good and the strap is nice to keep the cables together.
