Best 3G case on the market Jul 17, 2008
By N. Cryder I just purchased this case and am extremely impressed by the detail that went into the design of this case. In addition to the aesthetics, the functionality of the design is spot on in every respect. Everything is easily accessible while the iPhone is in the case, but you can also conveniently slide it out. I'm also amazed by the price. $25 would be a great bargain for the case alone, but it also comes with a microfiber cloth and crystal film screen protector. The latter cost me $15 for 2 of these on Apple's site. All in all, I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would be very surprised to find a better case anywhere on the market. And, no, I don't work for Marware :) In fact, I had never heard of them before this purchase (and have never before reviewed a product).

Pretty good case Aug 12, 2008
By M. C. Morgan I've had the CEO Flip for a few days now and found it a good case - not a great case, but usable. It's thick enough that it will protect the phone from a drop or two, and the firm cover protects the screen nicely. It's solid and well constructed, and the removable clip is useful for hanging it on my belt or pocket when necessary. No regrets.
On the downside, the suede inside cover shed some bits for a few hours, but they cleared up. And while the case holds the iPhone snugly, it creates a ridge around the screen, which makes using the phone a little less graceful and elegant. Remember the first gen Palm Pilot, or even the TX? The Palm screen is set below a plastic bezel. Using the phone in the case feels a little like that. Again: no regrets, but it's a trade-off. The iPhone was designed as a flat slab. This kind of case mars that elegance of use.
But it's awkward using the camera with case on. The camera lens port doesn't quite line up with the phone's lens. A little adjusting removes the vignette, but if the port were just a little larger, or oval, it would help. And the cover has to be held perpendicular to the body with one hand or two fingers while adjusting the case, lining up the shot... Feels like using a 1950's Brownie. Retro, but awkward.
Still, no regrets. It's naff, but the case will protect the phone for daily use until something better comes along.

Good case Aug 10, 2008
By Cat person I would definitely recommend this case. I know that sooner or later, I am going to drop my phone. This case looks like it will provide the protection I am going to want on that day. Because all the surfaces are protected, I can drop it down in my purse or a tote bag without worrying about scratches or buttons accidentally getting pushed.
The controls are still easily accessible, and the belt clip, while it adds more bulk than I would like, is certainly useful when I want my hands free but my phone nearby.

Almost a great case Dec 12, 2008
By Michael Slauson I was looking for a case that would let me clip this to my belt and let me take my iPhone out quickly and easily should I want too but still be functional while in the case. This is almost what I was looking for.
First off, I was very happy with it for the first few weeks, the only exception being that it's kind of awkward to hold next to your ear with that big flap. The phone slides in and out of the case nicely after a few days of use (it's a little stiff at first), and I like how the manufacturer paid attention to things like making all the ports and buttons easily accessible while the phone is in the case.
After about a month, though, the velcro that holds the flap down does not hold well at all, and you have to kind of "massage" the pieces of velcro together for them to do a half decent job of keeping the flap closed. It's extremely annoying to have that flap come undone by a light brush of the hand while walking or something. And then it just goes all over the place... and it happens all the time. I finally just got fed up with it and quit using the case.
All in all, if they changed the way the flap is secured, such as using snaps or a magnetic strip or something, then case would be best case I've seen so far. Until then, it's just mediocre.
