It works, just not the way I needed Aug 23, 2010

First off, I'll say this much; The Pen does work and it's also very light weight and not overly large as it can easily slide in a pocket with the phone when on the go.
But Other then that, the sensitivity of the pen on the screen is lackluster at most. It almost requires that you press the pen super hard on the screen to get it to even respond. Also the tip of the pen is a gel rubber pad that at times almost felt like it was about to pop off the pen after I had to press it so hard and slide it across the screen. Also the metal around the tip of the pen is sharps and I constantly feared it would scratch my screen if I miss guided the pen while sliding it across the screen.
Over all the pen did work, but not how I expected it. Personally this is a use at your own discretion product.

These styli are worthless. Even someone with the fattest fingers will get more accuracy than when using these. I purchased them because I sometimes have trouble selecting between words or clicking small icons on the browser of the Droid with any accuracy using my finger. The stylus has a beveled end. The problem is the flat part of the stylus must be pushed against the screen for it to respond. If you try to tip the stylus to use the finer edge for better accuracy, the screen does not respond at all. So you may ask how that is a deficiency of the stylus? Technically, it is not. Capacitive touchscreens are designed for a finger, not a stylus. They require a certain surface area of contact to respond. So a stylus must have some surface area to make the screen respond. The problem is the stylus tip that contacts the screen is flat and 3/8" diameter. So much for accuracy. Also, the tip is a soft rubbery material that sticks to rather than glides across the screen, making it a totally useless product. Last, the construction is pathetic. It is a chrome plated tube with a plastic top (which is also the pocket clip) that falls out and a rubber tip. It has no weight whatsoever so it doesn't even feel good in one's hand. Don't waste your money.

Using this stylus was like trying to write with a ball-point pen that someone stuck a marshmallow on the end of. In order to get the thing to write one must press unreasonably hard and even then the performance is inconsistent. What a waste of 12c. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Pros: Lightweight, slips into pocket like pen. Durable, and you get 3 in case 1 breaks.
Cons: As previous reviews stated.. Pen works on Droid, but sometimes your fingers are more accurate, and risk of scratching or cracking your screen becomes an issue after a while.
Conclusion: For the price (for 3 pens), I've found that the only use I've had for this particular/style pen is for documents that require your signature. But even then, it's still a little choppy.

I ordered this stylus to be able to capture signatures using a DROID and Square credit card acceptance. the stylus works, a few skips at times, but it is very lightweight and doesn't feel heavy enough when using it, more a preference than a product knock as it does work.
