For kids under 4 who have never played Diego! Jan 01, 2009
By Magnolia If you have ever played Diego's Safari game and your child is 3 or maybe 4 years old you could try this game. It is EXACTLY like the Diego game except its Dora. My 5 year old who loves Dora didn't even want to finish it past 20 minutes because she says "its the same as diego mom its so boring" and it is the same! The screen looks the same, same fuctions, even the appearance is very similar except its in girl colors!
I think the Diego is a great game for smaller kids getting used to the wii, but if youve played it before, this is about 90% exactly like it!

Excellent game for the young Wii player Nov 28, 2009
By J. Purcell We are new to the Wii and have 5 kids from 16 years old down to 3. I was concerned I wouldn't find a game that my youngest could play and that would hold her attention. Fortunately, I read the reviews here and decided to try it. This game is definitely perfect for a young child. It follows the typical Dora story line as in her cartoon and that is what the game is based on. it explains everything when it needs to be as well as gives visual help. My daughter is 3 months shy of being four years old and she really enjoyed it out of the box, and as her first video game experience. I have to say that my 5, 8 & 10 year olds also got a kick out of playing it as well. Probably just a novelty, as I can't say they would be as interested in it as my three year old, but they did enjoy "helping" my daughter learn.
I have to say, I am in awe that the makers of a video game as complex as the Wii could make something that a young inexperinced Wii player could handle.
This is a must have for any child who likes Dora.

This game is a lot of fun for a young child Dec 21, 2008
By Chris Long It's difficult to find a game that young kids can easily play. Fortunately this is one. My daughter had NO problem picking up the controller and playing the game. She actually had FUN with the Wii and we got some use out of it. Great game.

What a great thing for little kids Dec 14, 2009
By W. Galison I honestly don't ever take the time to write reviews. I have finally decided to pay it forward because I find reviews very helpful. I bought this game as a Hanukkah present for my 3 (4 next month) year old. She absolutely loves it, and she doesn't require a lot of help from mom and dad. I think the thing that I like most is you can put it on an instruction mode, and when you have to move the remote a certain way, it shows you. My child is not that mechanically inclined, so I was completely encouraged when she was doing it by herself. My almost 2 year old is also captivated by the game, and is copying his big sister. I think this will be a fun interactive game for a long time in this household.

Adult help not needed! Apr 24, 2009
By Grizman This game is perfect for our 5 year old and for our 7 year old with special needs. Why? Because the game is so simple that they don't need adult supervision to play the game! they simply follow the motions of the on-screen guide that shows how to move the controller. the game is also very forgiving which minimizes frustration. A side benefit is that it does have a fair amount of motion, arm waving, up/down, etc. to exercise the kids.
That said, I do agree with another reviewer that this is very similar to the Diego game and for most people, one or the other is sufficient.
Bottom line, this game has provided hours of entertainment for our kids with only casual parent supervision - that is, we can actually do something else at the same time!
