These are the speakers to buy! Apr 30, 2009
By J. Gomez Let me start by saying I research everything extensively before I buy it, especially home audio. I initially thought I wanted bose acoustimass, but all the reviews were mixed. My biggest criteria was small speakers. I previously had tower Sonys and bose surround, but was ready for a more hidden look. I whittled the research down to mirage nanosats or these. I was skeptical spending $600+ without hearing them and went to the local best buy where I could listen to both. They both sound great, but the definitive sounded a bit fuller and I couldn't get used to the nanosats. Setup is a bit odd, but well worth the sound. Plenty of tight bass, but not too boomy and the mids and highs are clear and lifelike.

Buy these speakers!! Oct 12, 2008
By Concession Card Fantastic sound, you won't be upset with this purchase!!
Great sound, very attractive, nice solid weight to the speakers, definitly not cheap flimsy crap!! Easy to set up although they recommend your front speakers plug into the Sub and not straight from your receiver. Nice seperation of sound, very impressed. Would buy these all over again!!
Get the floor stands, very solid and worth the $99 a pair.
All speakers come with Bannana type plugs that plug in or you can unscrew and feed wire in. I found a great deal on Amazon for gold plugs by Dayton and made my own cables with 14 guage wire, much cleaner install than straight wire.

So far, so good! Aug 05, 2008

I'm no audio/stereophile, but these speakers sound great in my small-medium sized room. The packaging was really well done (they fit everything in there nice and tight) and the speakers themselves are good-looking and discreet. The subwoofer has a lot of power and a very easy to reach volume control. These plugged right in to my Denon receiver and sounds great! I'd recommend.

Amazing System for Small/Mid Size room Jul 28, 2011
By Mohammad Zeeshan WOW! These speakers are amazing. I own these speakers for almost a week now and I get amazed by the sound quality, clarity and power of these small speakers every time I turn on my system. I am very satisfied/pleased by these speakers. I would recommend these speakers to anyone who is looking for a quality product for a mid/small size room. I researched a lot of speakers by Mirage MX 5, Energy Classic, Klicph 1000 etc.... but Definitive pro600 always came to the top. The sound is so rich and subwoofer is amazing, it's true not a hype. These speakers also have a solid feel and built quality is top notch. My Denon 1911 is driving these speakers and I am using 16 gauge speaker wires. The set up requires extra step but it's worth it. I would suggest go the store and just listen to them, even at low volumes the sound imaging is excellent; at high volumes you will be blown away! I would also suggest placing a carpet underneath the subwoofer if you have hardwood otherwise your floor will be rattling with rich, deep bass. I replaced my Samsung all in one HT system with this one and all I have to say is this: Instead of hearing the sound...I am feeling the sound with this system. Price is little steep but I have no regrets at all.

I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT, I LOVE IT!!!!!! Nov 23, 2011
By jason s robles OKAY SO WAS SHOPPING AROUND FOR FOR ROUGHLY 3 MONTHS BEFORE I MADE MY PURCHASE I COMPARED THESE TO THE ENERGY TAKE CLASSIC 5.1, AND THE MIRAGE MX 5.1( MY COUSIN HAS THE MIRAGES AND THEY DO SOUND REALLY GOOD,BUT THEY HAVE NO DEDICATED CENTER CHANNEL SPEAKER)I EVENTUALLY FOUND THIS SYSTEM ON EBAY BRAND NEW FOR $549(SORRY AMAZON). I WOULD'VE PAID THE $800 HERE ON ON AMAZON, BUT WHY NOT SAVE A LITTLE $ ON AN OUTSTANDING SYSTEM, THEY REALLY DON'T SOUND LIKE AN ENTRY LEVEL SYSTEM AT ALL, ESPCIALLY NOT ON MY DENON AVR-991. IF YOU'RE IN THE MARKET I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND GIVING THIS SYSTEM A SERIOUS LOOK!!!
