Double prints envelopes Nov 29, 2010
By Tommy R. Michaels I bought this product because of the price, knowing it was a 'compatible' and not manufactured by Brother. I did not realize that when I printed envelopes that it would not only print the address in the appropriate space, but also print a shadow of that same address on the envelope to the left. I also have had occasional problems when I fed sheets manually. Everything else seems to work fine.

You can spend more if you want...PLEASE DON'T!! Sep 24, 2010
By Antonio Gandia Wow! Very impressed! This drum fit my printer perfectly. Other than the brand logo, there is really no difference...except for the price! I was ready to throw out my printer, then someone suggested replacing the drum...I am so glad I did! Works like new! I was first skeptical about getting a drum brand different from my printer's, but it works perfectly...at a fraction of the cost! You COULD spend more money and get a "genuine" part...but why would you? I just have to warn you; when I called Brother's tech service (which by the way, it SUCKS!)they did request for me to read the label on the drum itself, I guess to check if it was genuine or not. I suspect using non-Brother components could potentially void your warranty, but my warranty has long expired, so I did not care. Seriously get this drum!!!!
Almost Worthless Dec 15, 2011
By Michael Thurston OEM lasted 5 years, this lasted less then 1 with much less use then the original saw. Finally replaced with a Brother drum. Even before the machine stopped printing altogether was giving warnings from almost the first print.
You get what you pay for Jul 05, 2011
By Erik The drum works with my printer, but the quality is very low. Getting a few random dots on the pages.
