I realize it says it is a Iphone 3G car charger but the iphone side of the charger does not hold a connection; it dislodges immediately after connecting it, bottom line, the connection does not work

This charger is exactly what I was looking for to charge my iPhone 3G while driving. I didn't want anything fancy or costly, and this meets those criteria. My only complaint, if this is really a complaint, is that the cord is "tight" when trying to keep the phone plugged in and talking on the phone at the same time. I have had it a month and have used it about 10 times without a problem. I would by another if needed.

I have no problem with buying this product, and probably would again, but there are a few issues with the plug staying secure in the phone. I find myself constantly trying to make sure that the plug has a secure connection with the phone.

If you are looking for a quality but inexpensive car charger for your iPhone or iPod, this is it! I've purchased two of these thus far, (one for me, then one for my mom) and have not been disappointment. These chargers are the real deal and for the price you may think, it's too go to be true, but from experience I can tell you first hand that it works, flawlessly. The plastic is solid and of great quality; not at all like those cheap chargers from those cell accessories vendors. I honestly was very impressed.

You can find Eforcity products from a variety of vendors on Amazon. Their stuff is cheap and solidly made. In fact, they're so cheap that if you should occasionally get something that doesn't work, it's usually cheaper just to order another one than to send it back.
I've had this charger in my truck for 4 or 5 months, and it works fine with both my iPhone 3G and my wife's original model iPhone. We also have a couple of Eforcity chargers for Game Boys and such at the house, too, and they are all consistent and reliable. If it works out of the box, it's usually going to last you a while.
This is a commodity, and like I said before, you can buy Eforcity products from a lot of vendors on Amazon. I would look at the vendor ratings and buy based on price and service ratings. Buy from a good vendor, and they'll replace the charger if it's broken, give you a credit, or something. Buy from a bad vendor, and you could wait weeks for what you ordered.
