I remember all the news coverage about tip hazards around children with TVs. If you have small children in the house, this is NOT the stand for you. Yes, it does its job. It is small as pictured and is easy to put it into a corner. However, it just does not seem to have forgiveness if you push on it. Carpetted floors I think will increase this possibility. With the LCD TV I'm putting on it, it will be fine. I do not have small ones in my house. I'd hate to have to think about it if I did. I'm not picking on this product, I'm just passing along a viewpoint to people who have kids in the house. Also be sure to look closely to the weight limits to be sure this is the right stand for you.

I opened the box and took everything out expecting to find everything I needed to put the thing together except the tools of course, and found to my surprise NO assembly instructions and NONE of the tidbits that are supposed to fit into the pre-drilled holes. Ultimately I have a mess sitting on my floor and no way to put anything together. I tried calling the customer support hotline number and it seems to be disconnected or the wrong number!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Let's get it out of the way. Sure it's made from particle/chip board. I've dealt with particle board before, and I was very skeptical about this unit when I was considering it. But this is different.
First, I was impressed with the packaging; there's extra support for the corners & sides of the box; anyone that's dealt with particle board DIYers knows it's a crapshoot when you open the box, what will work? Plus, I was pleased that the glass wasn't broken.
Next, it was easy to assemble. Though there were no words, the pictures in the instructions made sense, and all pieces were clearly marked. There are three shelves; the top is fixed while the bottom two are adjustable. The back is not completely open, but provides a classy look along with extra support.
Once assembled, the stand looks great, and again is sturdy and solid. I have a 32" Samsung flat panel, and it looks like the stand was made for the TV. Best of all, it fits in small corners without looking crowded or tiny.

This company needs to improve on their quality control. The product came with a large 6" crack mark on the surface of the upper shelf.

Perfect for anyone with a high bed May 12, 2009

This item is perfect for anyone that has a high bed in their bedroom. It was easy to put together and looks beautiful. It holds my big 27 inch tube tv (very heavy) easily, and would also look good with a newer flat panel. It is a great buy!
