Great Little printer Nov 10, 2009
By J. Lambert I bought this to do shipping lables, one off return address lables, File Lables, just as a general label printer feeding sheets of lables into my printer is just not pratical. First off being a thermal printer I was concerned about quality, quality is good, almost as sharp as my laser printer. Prints fast hit the button and the label is out, printed and cut.
I bought the network version over the USB so I can use it from any pc without leaving a PC on. Setup was easy just install the software. Intragrates with word, office puts a little button there. One thing I didn't expect is the Network version also has a USB port so you have the best of both worlds. Overall a very convient little printer.

Good machine, limited software. Oct 19, 2010
By Morgan S. Smith Overall, I am satisfied with this printer. I have had a several Dymo label printers and none have been durable. I bought this one to try an alternative. The print quality is good, the option to do continuous labels is excellent, the option to print different sizes is great. However, the software is a big disappointment. Specifically, the databases must be edited in a spreadsheet program, not directly from the P-Touch software. This is very 1990. One should have an integrated database, so that new entries can be saved without having to exit the program, launch the database file in Excel, add the entry, close it, and re-launch P-touch, and print. We had to set up a separate file for quickly printing labels not in our database. A work around like this should not be necessary for software in 2010, but they seem normal for Brother products. You get inexpensive, reliable machines, low cost consumables, and generous features; along with unintuitive controls, and convoluted software.

Quick and Easy Label Making Jul 16, 2010
By Scott Cruit I love how I can just copy and paste an address into the easy to use software and instantly, I have a Clear, Concise and Professional looking label, literally in the blink of an eye.
Switching out label stock is also quick and easy and there are different types and sizes available.
All of my computers are networked, as is this printer, so everyone in the family has access to this printer.
This printer does everything as advertised. I'm Very Happy with this purchase and Highly Recommend this to anyone looking for a Quick and Easy label printer. Definitely go with the Networked version. (Also works stand alone with one computer).

Great Label Printer Sep 18, 2009

"The Deacon"
Excellent Printing, Great Look, Fast and easy to load labels, Heavy Duty, Automatic Cutter that give you the control for the size you want is a great option. I am hopping one day brother will come with a single color label printer with a reasonable price tag.
I love this thing!! Nov 22, 2010
By C. Scott I love this label printer so much that I have purchased three. One for home and two additional for each of my offices. There are so many things you can do with this printer. It is very easy to use, very professional and worth every penny.
