3rd BlueANT headset Oct 04, 2010
By Raymond A. Aragon

BlueAnt makes great headsets. I had/have the Q1 and Z9. The Q1 is by far the most feature rich with the most advanced speech command dictionary. If you like the Speech commands then the T1 may be a bit of a disappointment, since they only allow a few basic commands to your phone via the BlueAnt menu, however one of the commands is to pass you tot he PHONE's in-house speech command engine.
All I am saying: if you are hooked on the voice commands then be aware that the T1 has less commands (roughly: check battery/Pair me/Phone command).
Sound Quality: much better than the Q1, deep bass and good volume range.
Hardware: Solid construction and good battery. Better battery than Q1. I have not run the T1 down to zero in a single day's use, yet.
Rugged: I honestly don't know how rugged it is. I like the switch to turn on and off. good way to save battery without guessing if it is on or off.
for less than $60 I bought this as a back-up to my Q1. My Q1 is now the back-up to my T1!
One last thing: I use the COMPLY TIPS that fit my Q1. Comply tips used to come with the Z9 series. they are essentially, memory foam ear tips and they work really well.

After years of Jawboning, the BlueAnt T1 puts them all to shame - Excellent reception and excellent guide voice. Simple to use, GREAT VALUE. Too many Pro's (no Cons) I'm on the road 450 miles/week - !

Finally, a bluetooth I am Happy with!!!! Jan 07, 2011
By Rdog770 I recently broke my 2nd Blueant Q1 (1st one died). I was tossed between replacing the Q1 with either the Q2 or the T1 but didn't see that much difference between the two so I chose the T1 because of a longer batt life and was cheaper than the Q2.
I've had several bluetooth's the Jawbone Icon, several Motorola's, Jabra's, Plantronics 975 and I am finally happy.
The T1 is the best so far.
The T1 is great for hearing the caller with clarity and it doesn't sound like a voice in a tin can or so muffled you keep saying HUH? What did you say? The caller says my voice is clear and not a lot of background noise.
I listen to an ipod almost daily at 3/4 volume on Bose headphones and my hearing is not what it use to be but the T1 has enough volume for the hard at hearing. All my other bluetooth's are set at max volume and I couldn't hear every word. On the T1 I hear every word and it isn't turned all the way up. Also the T1 voice command tells you if your turing the volume down or up and when it has reached max. When your driving and trying to adjust your volume, you need your focus more on the road and not which button your pressing.
Not as many voice commands as the Q1 but I'd rather have a longer batt life than the ability to say more, there is a trade off.
PROS - caller's name announced from your address book, can say answer or ignore call, great batt life, announces new text msg, comfortable fit, good speaker and mic pickup, the best for listening to music or podcast.
Cons - Still trying to find one.

Best Headset! Nov 18, 2010
By Edward Troxell Finally, I found a bluetooth I can use and that fits right. Great sound, love the voice commands, just a great product. Wish it had the speech to text app for the iPhone though.
