While it's not as "sturdy" as I might have liked, for the price this is a good option for the Blackberry Curve 8310 I have. And for those of you who care like I did too, don't worry...this red is pretty darn close to the red phone itself (or at least the one AT&T has). :)
The case fits securely, and while the back is still a little slick (ie, doesn't have a whole lot of traction), it's still better than just the phone itself. I haven't dropped my phone since putting this cover on, so I can't say for sure whether it protects it from that or not, or at least protects it from popping off into 3 pieces like I did a few times before I got this case (phone, backing, battery, all in 3 seperate directions...gotta love when that happens). Anyway, I would certainly recommend this to someone, and the only reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because it would be nice if it covered a little more of the front, especially the screen, which for those of us girls who wear makeup, you can all appreciate something that prevents the classic "foundation smear" across your screen after you've talked to someone on your phone, especially on warmer days...which we have a lot of in Florida...
Hope this is helpful to anyone who might be considering getting this. Do it; trust me, you're phone with thank you!

Silicone case for Blackberry Curve Nov 23, 2008

I got this case because I had dropped my phone and taken a big chunk out of the corner. This case fits great on the phone and covers that chip and will now prevent it from happening again. Which I have dropped my phone several times more after getting the cover and no chips!! I love it and I will probably get it in several colors.

Item was received as promised. Brand new in package. Very nice although it ripped up at the top from one of the cut outs. It was still usable.

So I have the Blackberry Curve 8330 from Sprint. This cover is a cushion to my phone when I drop it, and unfortunately I've dropped it many times (on concrete in parking lots...you know when you get out of the car and forget the phone is in your lap.. ok maybe that just happens to me)
I was reading that someone said that it doesn't cover the front, but I like that it doesn't because that way you can see what phone you have... what I did is I bought a clear plastic screen protector for the front. This helps girls and their makeup/phone issue.
The red does match the Sprint red blackberry color pretty darn close. I have nail polish that matches better, but since the silicone skin is not a metallic color it doesn't match perfectly... but the red color seems to be the same as the phone's red color. Hope this helps ;-)
