 Not the best sound quality Oct 16, 2011

It works but,not the best sound quality. But what can I expect for the cost? Its convenient to say the least. Would not recommend or purchase again.

This was purchased to use with an iPod in my girlfriend's car. The cable needed to be jiggled and re-adjusted to work properly after only a few days (one side of the speakers would drop out, there'd be occasional pops and static when driving around a corner). The cable is very flimsy, so we never even attempted to use the retractable feature (an iPod hanging from it alone was enough to cause issues after very little time).
We have since replaced it with a higher quality 18" cable that works with none of the issue experienced with this cord. I'd recommend spending a bit more to get a sturdier cable the exact length you need to prevent unnecessary wear on the product.

This is a fantastic product. Sound quality is wonderful! Pull both ends at the same time: it seems that some people writing reviews may not know how to use it correctly.

Cheap, but flimsy and broke after awhile. The price is great, but after some use it has completely stopped working and now I am forced to listen to terrible salsa music my friend burned on a cd rather than my nice salsa from my iphone. Sadness.

I purchased this for my car to listen to my ipod. I loved the feature where the cord is retractable. I hate tangling messes. I would have given it 5 stars except the retractable cord does not always hold it's place and has a tendency to want to retract completely. Fortunately it does not disconnect from my ipod. It's still a great value.
