HDMI to DVI-D Video cable Feb 27, 2009

I am thankful I bought this HDMI to DVI-D Digital Video Cable. I wanted to connect my PC to my 60" DLP 1080p TV so I could watch videos from my pc. I received the cable in a timely fashion, hooked it up and I am very impressed with the overall performance of the cable. I can now watch movies I have downloaded and watch them on my tv from my pc. There is no need to convert them to DVD or Blu Ray unless I absolutely want to.

I shudder to think how much a product like this would cost at Best Buy, Circuit City, or any number of other similar stores. Amazon is a much better avenue for purchasing electronic accessories like this provided your are not in a race against the clock to host a movie night for friends or family. This cord easily plugged into both my receiver and my 1080i projector. I've been using it for nearly a year and I have not had a single problem in that time. Price out stuff like this online and save the bundle for a rainy day.

I use this cable for connecting my gaming computer to a Sanyo 1080p projector and the video quality is amazing! Considering that a 6 foot HDMI cable costs $65 and a 12 foot cable costs $129.00 at Best Buy -- I thought there must be a better place to get the cable I need for my home theater. Amazon did not let me down. Don't waste your money at retail stores; Amazon saved me at least 100 dollars.

Not much to say about a cable. It does what it is supposed to do, connects my PC to my TV. The PC is in another room, so this was the perfect solution. In fact, I am writing this review from my sofa on Logitech Wireless Desktop MK320 with Keyboard and Mouse. I am essentially using my primary PC as an HTPC without spending all the money on a separate system.

As it turns out, I really don't need the cable anymore, since I moved my computer. Currently using a 6-foot version of the same cable, that works PERFECTLY. This 25-footer has gold-plated connectors, and sturdy construction. For the price, it can't be beat. Amazon is the only place I come to for cables. I definitely recommend this to anyone needing to connect their PC or whatever to a display that's far away.
