This is a nice light weight step down adapter for Wii. Works fine in India. Used this for a long time and no issues so far.

Cheap, simple, and a life-saver! Great purchase for those of us that don't want to use a bulky transformer to play our US-purchased Wii in Europe.

This has allowed me to use my Wii in Europe without hooking it up to a transformer. Why on earth the original power supply doesn't support 110/220 is a mystery to me. But this has worked well thus far.

It just may be that your original power supply is NOT dead!
First, UNPLUG your "dead" power supply (from the wall outlet) and LEAVE IT UNPLUGGED for AT LEAST 30 minutes. Plug it back in - voila! Problem solved.
A friend told me about this trick after talking to Nintendo tech support, and sure enough - IT WORKED!
Unfortunately, I had already purchased an item like this one by the time I heard of this fix. I do not have a comment on the quality of this particular product, but thought that everyone should know of the above "fix". As a result, I just gave it a middle of the road 3-star rating.

I bought this to use with a USA version WII in India. It worked pretty well. No issues at all.
